The Truckee Wolverines's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 36-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hug. Truckee was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hug apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Hug got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Andrea Trujillo out in front who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Trujillo has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cori Carrier, who scored ten points.
Truckee dropped their record down to 8-14 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.8 points per game. As for Hug, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-17.
Truckee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hug, they will head out on the road to take on Fernley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
