The Dana Hills Dolphins stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 75-11 win over Capistrano Valley at home. That 64 points margin sets a new team best for Dana Hills this season.
Dana Hills found their leader in underclassman Kayla Rice, who scored 26 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Rice hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Akason, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Dana Hills pushed their record up to 18-3 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.67 points. As for Capistrano Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Dana Hills will head out on the road to square off against El Toro at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. El Toro will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 288th, while Dana Hills is ranked 97th). As for Capistrano Valley, they will be playing at home against Mission Viejo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
