Silverado is 1-6 against Hesperia since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Hawks just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Scorpions at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
On Wednesday, Silverado made easy work of Carter and carried off a 55-30 victory. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Silverado's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ce Ce Scott led the charge by dropping a double-double with 15 points and 24 boards. Scott is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games she's played. Alohilani Atimua was another key player, going 10-for-18 on her way to 25 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hesperia, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They walked away with a 61-49 victory over Silver Valley last Monday.
Hesperia's win came from a few key players Silverado will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Paris Leonard, who shot 47% from the field en route to 18 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Paige Harralson, who posted 13 points and five boards.
Hesperia smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in 20 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Hesperia now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Silverado, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
Thursday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant forwards against one another: Scott and Annabel Sanchez. Scott has been dynamite this season: she has averaged 12.8 points, 4.2 steals, and 12.8 rebounds. For her part, Sanchez has averaged 10.4 points, 2.6 steals, and 11 boards.
Silverado took a serious blow against Hesperia in their previous matchup back in January, falling 80-38. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Hawks were down 38-16.
