The Jasper Vikings will be home for the holidays to greet the Florence Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jasper is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
Even though Jasper has not done well against Minor recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Jasper came out on top against Minor by a score of 45-36.
Meanwhile, Florence pushed their score all the way to 56 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. Their tough 78-56 loss to Vicksburg might stick with them for a while.
Jasper pushed their record up to 9-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Florence, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
