Stimpson Posts Huge Game in 58-35 Loss
Starting off the list is Jesuit's Joe Stimpson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Stimpson picked up 99 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.
Jesuit's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2. Stimpson and Jesuit are taking a road trip to challenge Southridge on Friday.

Heath Thompson Delivers Electric Effort Vs Beaverton
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Heath Thompson stepped things up a notch to give Westview the 'W'. Thompson was dynamite, rushing for 92 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.
Beaverton's probably not too fond of Thompson given he always seems to get the better of them. Thompson rushed for 154 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.3 yards per carry the last time he and the Beavers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Treynor Cleeland Makes It Two for Jesuit
The second Jesuit player making an appearance here is Treynor Cleeland, and for good reason. He threw for 251 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.2% of his passes.
This year, Cleeland has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 191.8 passing yards per game.

Jayce Strand Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Westview got the W thanks in part to Jayce Strand playing the best football he has all season. Strand picked up two sacks and made seven total tackles.
On the season, Strand has averaged 6.6 total tackles per game and for the season has 4 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 0.14 total tackles per game.
