Hastings won the last time they faced Lincoln Northeast and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers blew past the Rockets 12-5. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on ELLA TINSMAN, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. EMILY KRATZER was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

The win was the fourth in a row for Hastings, bringing their record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Lincoln Northeast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
