The Orestimba Warriors waltzed into their contest on Thursday with 13 straight wins but they left with 14. They took down Gustine 37-20. That's another feather in the cap for Orestimba, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Olivia Gray, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ashlynn Bell, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Gustine's loss came despite strong showings from Brooklyn Jackson and Shandel Aguilera. Jackson scored four points along with six rebounds and two blocks, while Aguilera scored nine points along with six steals and two blocks. Aguilera hasn't dropped below five steals for 11 straight games.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Gustine struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Orestimba racked up nine assists.
