Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Western Christian). They put the hurt on The Webb Schools Gauls with a sharp 15-2 victory on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Fighting Lancers in their matchups with the Gauls: they've now won eight in a row.
Jackson Thompson tossed a big game, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
