The Upper Perkiomen Indians had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Pottstown 52-22 on the road on Thursday. Upper Perkiomen pushed the score to 41-17 by the end of the third, a deficit the Trojans had little chance of recovering from.
Upper Perkiomen was led to victory by Erin States and Natalie Kearney. States scored 12 points, while Kearney scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kearney has scored all season.
Upper Perkiomen's win ended a 20-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-17. As for Pottstown, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
Upper Perkiomen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pottstown will look to defend their home court on Monday against the at 7:00 p.m. Linville Hill will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
