The Gridley Bulldogs waltzed into Thursday's game with four straight wins but they left with five. They claimed a resounding 62-30 victory over Central Valley on the road. The result was nothing new for Gridley, who have now won five matches by 20 points or more so far this season.
Brook Marr continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 32 points, 10 rebounds, and 16 blocks. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Gridley's points. Aubree Weber was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 5 assists.
Gridley's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Central Valley, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Gridley will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on December 9th. Anderson will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. As for Central Valley, they will square off against Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Lincoln's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
