Linville Hill can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 55-12 victory over Conestoga Christian. The win was nothing new for Linville Hill as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Ellie Rishel was her usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. Desiree Smucker was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Conestoga Christian struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Linville Hill pulled down 18 offensive rebounds.
Linville Hill's win was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. As for Conestoga Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Linville Hill won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against High Point Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Conestoga Christian is facing Alliance Christian at the right time seeing as Alliance Christian is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
