On Friday Wrenshall take on Carlton at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps national rankings predict a close match.
Wrenshall couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. Last Thursday, they and Hill City/Northland were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered an agonizing 13-14 loss.
Meanwhile, Carlton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener. They won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Littlefork-Big Falls 10-9.
Carlton's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Wrenshall's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Carlton can add another positive mark to their record or if Wrenshall can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Carlton's step.
