The Ramona Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 24 points or more this season. They breezed by Arlington on the road to the tune of 61-10. With Ramona ahead 31-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Ramona found their leader in underclassman Athena Berber, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for her. Jaiden Tibbels was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Ramona and bumps their season record up to 10-10. As for Arlington, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Ramona will be playing in front of their home fans against La Sierra at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. La Sierra is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Arlington, they will head out on the road to face off against Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillcrest comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last seven games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
