High school football is underway and stats were piling up in a big way over the weekend.

Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet) beat Morton 69-37 thanks in part to the efforts of quarterback
Lucas Dyer and wide receiver
Trey Peters. Dyer connected on 26 of 33 attempts for 593 yards and eight touchdowns. Five of the scoring strikes went to Peters, who finished with 11 receptions for 344 yards.
