Castaic has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.72 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paraclete Spirits. Even though they lost, the Coyotes' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.1 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Jr Yera made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Jakob Kerr, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Castaic is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7. As for Paraclete, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-10.

Looking ahead, Castaic will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Bonaventure at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Paraclete, they are taking a road trip to square off against Royal at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
