Basketball Recap: Perris Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Perris entered their tilt with Vista del Lago on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They enjoyed a cozy 49-30 win over the Vista del Lago Ravens. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 38-24 back in December of 2024.

Perris' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but E'Niece Ray led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Ray a new career-high in blocks (three). Carina Castaneda was another key player, going 7 of 16 on her way to 17 points along with seven boards and seven steals.

Perris smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.

Perris' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Vista del Lago, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
