Volleyball Recap: Oak Grove Takes Down Saxony Lutheran in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Oak Grove walked away with it. They blew past the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders 3-0 on Saturday.

Leading Oak Grove to victory were Ava Chrisco and Emmy Brown. Chrisco had seven digs and four aces, while Brown had 33 assists and 11 digs. Brown is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

They weren't the only good servers: Oak Grove was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Saxony Lutheran only served three.

Oak Grove's win bumped their record up to 36-1-1. As for Saxony Lutheran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-21-1.

As of now, neither Oak Grove nor the Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
