Burbank is 0-10 against Kennedy since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Burbank Titans will head out on the road to  square off against  the Kennedy Cougars at 7:00  p.m. Burbank comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 16 points in their last four games, a trend the  team is of course eager to reverse.
 Burbank suffered their biggest  loss yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a  66-6 loss at the hands of Monterey Trail. While losing is never fun, Burbank can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 1103rd, while Monterey Trail is ranked 149th).
 Burbank's  loss came about despite a quality game from  Aniyah Bufford, who  scored four points along with seven  rebounds and five  steals.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Kennedy gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. They took their  matchup at home  with ease, bagging a  80-45 victory over Laguna Creek. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  victory Kennedy has posted  since December 19, 2023.
 Burbank bumped their record down to 4-13 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's  offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.7 points per game. As for Kennedy, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.
 Burbank took a serious blow against Kennedy  when the teams last played  back in December of 2023, falling  52-16. Can Burbank avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
