The York County Tech Spartans can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Friday. They walked away with  a   43-36  victory over Hanover. York County Tech's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 York County Tech found their leader in underclassman  Meaza Hower, who  scored 17 points along with seven  rebounds. That's the first time this season that  Hower  scored 15 or more  points. Another player making a difference was  Marissa Parker, who  scored six points along with 12  rebounds.
 York County Tech's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Hanover, they  still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
 York County Tech will be home for the holidays to greet  South Western at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hanover will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bermudian Springs at 6:00  p.m.  on January 5, 2024.
