Two dominant guards in Issac Byers Jr and Alex Helton are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Ashbrook Greenwave have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Forestview Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Ashbrook has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 358 points over their last five games.
Ashbrook pushed their score all the way to 62 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 67-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Crest.
Meanwhile, Forestview's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 76-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Gaston. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (59), Forestview still had to take the loss.
Ashbrook's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Forestview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
Ashbrook beat the Jaguars 85-78 when the teams last played back in January. Does Ashbrook have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jaguars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
