The Pacifica Tritons will venture away from home to take on the St. Bonaventure Seraphs at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Pacifica 2.6, St. Bonaventure 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Pacifica came out on top against Buena on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Tritons were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Bulldogs. The Tritons haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Ricky Garcia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Devon Wilkes, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Bobby Ramirez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.
Pacifica hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, St. Bonaventure can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Nordhoff an 8-0 shutout.
Rowen Kaiser was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Kaiser was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Aaron Byrd and Luc Beauchemin did most of the damage at the plate: Byrd went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run, while Beauchemin got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Beauchemin has become a key player for St. Bonaventure: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-10 otherwise. Jason De La Paz also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Pacifica pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for St. Bonaventure, their record is now 12-10.
