The Brashear Bulls will be playing at home against the Steel Valley Ironmen at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Steel Valley took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Brashear, who comes in off a win.
In what's become a running theme this season, Brashear gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 47-17 win over Carrick. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Brashear.
Ra'Nyah Morris was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below three steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Sherrill, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Steel Valley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 13th straight defeat. They were dealt a 58-29 loss at the hands of Ellis.
Brashear's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9. As for Steel Valley, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
Brashear beat the Ironmen 51-44 in their previous matchup back in December of 2016. Does Brashear have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Ironmen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
