Bishop Union had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They put the hurt on the Rosamond Roadrunners with a sharp 18-4 victory. Considering the Broncos have won nine contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Knox Moffet was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up four earned runs off four hits. Moffet was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, three doubles, and one run.

In other batting news, Bishop Union got a massive performance out of Brayden Leeson, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Reuben Nicholson, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Bishop Union always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .697. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rosamond only posted an OBP of .381.

Bishop Union's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.1 runs over those games. As for Rosamond, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Bishop Union didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-4 win against Desert on the 6th. As for Rosamond, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-2 loss against Boron on the 6th.
