Ty Hawkins had a monster night accounting for all four scores. His 51-yard touchdown run gave the Ascenders a 14-7 lead with 7:14 left in the 3rd quarter. Later in the quarter, he connected with freshman wide receiver
Eric Mcfarland lll for a 47-yard score to extend the lead to 20-7.
After a
Dominick Kelly interception, Hawkins scored his third rushing touchdown of the night for a 27-7 lead early in the 4th quarter.
The win for the Ascenders avoids their first 0-2 start in program history as they have a huge matchup on Sept. 6 vs. No. 13

Brandon White finished with 19 carries for 104 yards and two total touchdowns. Senior defensive back
