They strolled past Freedom Prep Academy with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 65-46. That's another feather in the cap for Intermountain Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Intermountain Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Keaton Okino out in front who scored 25 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. The match was Okino's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Hillaker, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Intermountain Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Freedom Prep Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Intermountain Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rockwell at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Freedom Prep Academy, they will play host again and welcome Maeser Prep Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Maeser Prep Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
