Utah High School Basketball - Intermountain Christian tops Freedom Prep Academy

December 13, 2023: Provo, UT 84601

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Intermountain Christian Lions (Salt Lake City, UT) and the host Freedom Prep Academy Eagles (Provo, UT), saw Intermountain Christian's basketball squad knock off Freedom Prep Academy by a count of 65-46.

With the victory, Intermountain Christian upgrades its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Rockwell (Eagle Mountain, UT) to play the Marshals in a 2A Region 16 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Marshals come into the challenge with a record of 6-4.

Next up, the Eagles play the Maeser Prep Academy Lions (Lindon, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Freedom Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 52-45 non-league win over Pinnacle (Price, UT).
