Nico Padilla was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Padilla was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
In other batting news, Micheal Bejarano was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.
