Kings Christian simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Alpaugh 58-15 at home. Kings Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three contests by 27 points or more this season.
Despite the defeat, Alpaugh saw an underclassman step up: Jazmin Juarez scored 8 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds. Juarez is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Kings Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Alpaugh, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
Kings Christian and Laton will face off at 12:00 p.m. on December 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Laton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1005th, while Kings Christian is ranked 456th). Alpaugh will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Riverdale at 9:00 a.m. on December 2nd.
