The Everett Warriors won the last time they faced the Bedford Bisons, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Everett walked away with a 53-44 victory over Bedford.
Cloe Price was her usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks. She hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Jade Colledge, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Despite the loss, Bedford saw an underclassman step up: Rebekah Costal scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shannon Letrent, who scored nine points.
Everett has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Bedford, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Everett the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Fannett Metal at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. Fannett Metal is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Bedford, they will head out on the road to take on Penn Cambria at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Penn Cambria presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bedford in Pennsylvania (Penn Cambria is ranked 175th, while Bedford is ranked 431st).
