Cairo pushed their score to 17 the last time they played Dougherty, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. The Cairo Syrupmakers never let the Dougherty Trojans get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-3 last Monday.

Cairo's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5. As for Dougherty, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Cairo will square off against Miller County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dougherty, they will face off against Bainbridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
