Prep Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against the Belmont Charter Tigers at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Prep Charter is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Belmont Charter in Pennsylvania (Prep Charter is ranked 233rd, while Belmont Charter is ranked 517th).
Prep Charter unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell to Masterman 41-35. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Prep Charter has scored all season.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Belmont Charter beat Science Leadership Academy 42-36 on Wednesday. The win was just what Belmont Charter needed coming off of a 47-13 defeat in their prior contest.
Prep Charter's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2. As for Belmont Charter, they pushed their record up to 4-3 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Prep Charter took their win against Belmont Charter when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 52-29. Will Prep Charter repeat their success, or does Belmont Charter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
