It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Elsinore had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 47-39. The win was just what Elsinore needed coming off of a 63-21 loss in their prior match.
In what's become a running theme this season, The Webb Schools gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They beat Environmental Charter by the very same score they won with last week: 52-6. Winning may never get old, but The Webb Schools sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Badkar continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 23 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Nicole Rabadi, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Elsinore pushed their record up to 15-13 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for The Webb Schools, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.
