Meanwhile, Ashland had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their pitchers stepped up to hand South Medford  a   6-0 shutout  on Tuesday. The Grizzlies not only won  on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win  since May 3, 2024.
 Ashland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cobain Taylor, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Dos Pueblos' win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-5. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Ashland, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
