The Jordan Red Jackets will head out to challenge the Shaw Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shaw took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Jordan, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Jordan turned things around against Carver on Friday. They blew past the Tigers 11-1.

Bradley Smith was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single hit and allowed only one earned run while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. He has become a key player for Jordan: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-8 otherwise. Smith was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Glenn Edmondson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Brody Catlin, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Jordan lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March of 2025.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 19 runs the game before, Shaw was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Calvary Christian. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Shaw saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Deshaun Mays, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.
Shaw's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Jordan, their record now sits at 6-9.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Jordan has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .433. However, it's not like Shaw struggles in that department as they've averaged .446. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Jordan suffered a grim 9-1 defeat to Shaw in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Red Jackets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
