The Attica Red Ramblers can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They secured a 42-38 W over Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin. The win was just what Attica needed coming off of a 49-12 defeat in their prior match.
Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Mayzee Myers, who scored six points along with seven rebounds, and Ella Myers who scored 12 points along with three steals. Myers set a new season high mark in blocks with two.
Attica's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9. As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Attica's road trip will continue as they head out to face Covington at 7:30 p.m. on January 4th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Covington is ranked 316th, while Attica is ranked 325th). As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, they will head out on the road to face off against Iroquois West at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Iroquois West will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
