Those three stolen bases gave Kiker a new career-high. Ryan McDaniel was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
Coalinga was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Coalinga's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Avenal, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17.
