Though this was definitely a build-up of two of the nation's greatest prep running backs, it also featured two possible state finalists in 4A Yulee (left) and 2A Glades Day.

It was billed as the greatest high school running back matchup ever. But it was so much more.
Yulee (Yulee, Fla.) High School's 42-6 victory over
Glades Day (Belle Glade, Fla.) before an over-flow crowd and nationally-televised audience was a happening - considered one of the greatest prep football spectacles in Florida history. And considering the history of Florida prep football, that's saying something.
The showdown between the two backs -
Derrick Henry, of Yulee, and
Kelvin Taylor didn't remotely disappoint. The two combined for 586 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. MaxPreps photographer Gray Quetti was there to document the special night.
