The Severn School Admirals strolled past the Annapolis Panthers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 28-14.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Severn School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jack Fowler, who picked up 141 receiving yards and a pair of scores. The dominant performance also gave Fowler a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (two). Another rusher making a difference was Jules Floyd, who rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.
Annapolis lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Zyhir Neal, who rushed for 70 yards on only nine carries, and also threw for 68 yards and one TD.
The victory got Severn School back to even at 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Severn School will take on St. John's Catholic Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Annapolis, they will challenge Southern at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
