The Northeast Bradford Panthers were the 39-30 winner over the Troy Trojans when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Northeast Bradford lost to Troy on the road by a decisive 59-43 margin on Tuesday.
Troy can attribute much of their success to Kailyn Sterling, who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 blocks. Alyssa Parks was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Northeast Bradford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Troy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Northeast Bradford will head out on the road to face off against Williamson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Williamson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Monday. As for Troy, they will be playing at home against Canton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
