Braham hasn't had much luck against Upsala recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Braham Bombers will challenge the Upsala Cardinals at 5:45 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Saturday, Braham ended up a good deal behind Barnum and lost 91-72. Braham has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Braham might have lost, but man, Tyler Eklund was a machine: he shot 6-for-10 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 36 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Eklund's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tanner Doble, who posted 17 points and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Upsala waltzed into their matchup two weeks ago with two straight wins... but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 75-18 win over the Lions. That looming 75-18 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cardinals yet this season.
Braham better keep an eye on Jack Primus. He was instrumental in Upsala's win, going 10 of 14 on his way to 21 points in addition to six assists and six boards. Primus is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Laliberte, who posted nine points and four steals.
Upsala smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 35 consecutive games dating back to last season.
Braham's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Upsala, their record is now 4-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Braham has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 43.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Upsala struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.3 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Braham might still be hurting after the 74-54 defeat they got from Upsala in their previous meeting back in March. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Primus, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine assists. Now that Braham knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
