On Tuesday, El Dorado humbled Casa Roble with a 75-25 victory. With that victory, El Dorado brought their scoring average up to 53 points per game.
El Dorado's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alana Schneider, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Schneider has scored at least 25% of El Dorado's points. Blake Bagnell was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds.
Casa Roble's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Savannah Sanders, who scored 9 points, and Lydia Chechourka-Price who scored 8 points. Sanders scored a full 36% of Casa Roble's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
El Dorado now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Casa Roble, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
El Dorado will face off against Rocklin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Casa Roble is on the road again on Thursday and play against West Campus at 4:00 p.m. on November 30th. West Campus presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Casa Roble in California (West Campus is ranked 227th, while Casa Roble is ranked 703rd).
