The Brockway Rovers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Curwensville 60-32 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Brockway has managed all season.
Brockway found their leader in underclassman Sophia Schmader, who dropped a triple-double on 26 points, 12 rebounds, and ten steals. Schmader also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Rheanna Spinda, who scored 13 points along with seven steals.
The win got Brockway back to even at 3-3. As for Curwensville, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brockway will square off against Johnsonburg at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Curwensville's road trip will continue as they head out to face Glendale at 6:30 p.m. on December 22nd.
