Lincoln Leadership Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Friday. They breezed by Lehigh Valley Academy on the road to the tune of 66-15. Lincoln Leadership Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.
Lincoln Leadership Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Yadira Marshall led the charge by scoring 15 points along with eight steals. Marshall hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Another player making a difference was Alania Ortiz, who scored 14 points along with six steals and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Notre Dame lost to MMI Preparatory School at home by a decisive 45-30 margin on Wednesday. Notre Dame has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lincoln Leadership Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Notre Dame, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Lincoln Leadership Academy came up short against Notre Dame in their previous matchup back in January of 2020, falling 37-24. Can Lincoln Leadership Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
