The Piqua Indians can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 60-57 win from a begrudging Indianssquad. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Piqua's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isaiah Martin, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of TATE KUHLMAN, who scored 20 points.
Piqua's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4. As for Tecumseh, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-7.
Piqua will head out on the road to face off against Butler at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tecumseh will be home for the holidays to greet Urbana at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
