The Indio Rajahs will take on the Arroyo Valley Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Indio is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Pioneer on Saturday. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of 3-2.

Jose Rodriguez was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance gave him a new career-low in hits. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing Four bases. while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases.
Rodriguez wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Luis Olivarez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Those two hits gave Olivarez a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Arroyo Valley entered their tilt with Eisenhower on Saturday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 12-1 victory. With that win, the Hawks brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.
Like Indio, Arroyo Valley also got a great game from a two-way player: Ian Escobar. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. Escobar also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Arroyo Valley is 5-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-2 otherwise. Escobar was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Arroyo Valley let Jorge Reyes and Michael Rosas run wild. Reyes scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4, while Rosas scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. Rosas is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Carlos Perez was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Arroyo Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .480. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .348 or higher in three consecutive matches.
Arroyo Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Indio, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
