The Sylmar Spartans can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 58-19 victory over Canoga Park. The win was just what Sylmar needed coming off of a 61-39 defeat in their prior match.
Sylmar's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mia Ceja, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julie Pineda, who scored 14 points.
Sylmar's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Canoga Park, they bumped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sylmar will take on Reseda at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Canoga Park, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Van Nuys at 4:30 p.m.
