South Hills is 2-8 against Diamond Bar since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The South Hills Huskies will be playing at home against the Diamond Bar Brahmas at 5:00 p.m. South Hills will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 420th, while Diamond Bar is ranked 128th).
Last Thursday, South Hills was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 42-37 to Walnut.
Meanwhile, Diamond Bar put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. Everything went their way against Morse as Diamond Bar made off with a 68-43 win. The win was familiar territory for Diamond Bar who now have three in a row.
South Hills' loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Diamond Bar, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
South Hills was taken down by Diamond Bar 71-39 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can South Hills avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
