Hannibal extended their losing streak  to six  on Wednesday, dropping them down to 2-16. They lost  13-3 to the Mexico Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  12-1  back in September.
 Hannibal saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kynlee Ross, who  went 1-for-2 with one  home run and two  RBI.  Carlee McCoy also deserves some recognition as  she  brought in her first  RBI of the season.
As for Mexico,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 11-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six  runs or more this season.
 On Mexico's side,  Payton Shaw was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  runs  Shaw has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of  Scottie Smith, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run and three  RBI.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  games. Hannibal will head out to  square off against Palmyra  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Mexico, they will face off against Fulton at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
