The Franklin Knights had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 32-19 win over Corry. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Franklin also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Katie Boal, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Boal is absolutely dominating the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kirsten Hicks, who scored seven points.
Franklin's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. As for Corry, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
Franklin will be playing at home against Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Warren will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for Corry, they will head out on the road to challenge Oil City at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
