Chaffee entered their tilt with Jackson on Thursday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Fighting Indians with a sharp 8-1 win. Considering the Red Devils have won 13 games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Chaffee's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Jackson, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Chaffee will head out to face off against Farmington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson, they will challenge Doniphan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
